Washington Middle School AVID program expands to 6th grade
Washington Middle School is preparing all students to be college, career, and community-based learners. Three elements are new to Washington:

1 - All 6th grade students and staff are participating in Achievement Via Individual Determination (AVID) principles of organization, high-level thinking and college level skill development, which supports the existing 7th and 8th grade AVID program.

2 - In addition to the advanced language arts curriculum, advanced math and science classes have been added.

3 - Students will be involved in helping the Green Bay community through Community Club, where students give back to the east side of Green Bay via volunteering. (09/2012)
