State Superintendent Visits Green Bay
On March 13, 2017, State Superintendent Dr. Tony Evers visited the Green Bay Area Public School District as part of Career and Technical Education (CTE) month. Dr. Evers had the opportunity to visit and observe the following programs in action: Dr. Langenfeld & Dr. Evers at City Stadium Automotive

  • City Stadium Automotive® at East High School 
  • DECA/FBLA at Preble High School
  • Certified Nursing Assistant Program at Preble High School
  • Culinary Arts at Preble High School 

The Green Bay Area Public School District has a vibrant and dynamic career technical education program, which offers students the opportunity to graduate high school with college credit and/or a certification, ensuring they graduate college, career and community ready.

Dr. Warren, Dr. Evers & Rep. Genrich at CSA The District’s programming includes progressive work-based learning, strong chamber-workforce development, business and higher-education partnerships, organized personal finance literacy clubs connected to Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), active culinary arts programs, Bay Link Manufacturing®, and City Stadium Automotive®.

Other special guests for the day included: Eric Genrich (State Representative), Sara Baird (DPI Assistant Director of Career and Technical Education), Emilie Amundson (DPI Chief of Staff), Paula Kuse (Broadway Automotive Managing Partner), Bobby Broder (Clover Auto and Truck Supply Director of Operations), Rick Larscheid (Owner of Broadway Enterprise, Inc.), Cindy Theys (NWTC Associate Dean of Health Sciences and Education) and Marlene Gauthier (NWTC K-12 Early College Project Manager).
