Please note: We have updated our forms. If you are submitting a parent paid request, we do NOT need an additional childcare or dual household request. We just need the one, parent paid, request for your student(s).
Submit a Child Care Provider Request English | Spanish
Requests are processed in the order that they are received. We recommend you submit all requests by mid July. At the very latest, requests must be received and paid for (if applicable) by August 21st to be processed by the first day of school.
Eligibility and Details
Purpose: We offer transportation to or from a childcare provider when they meet the below criteria:
- Both addresses must be in the school attendance boundary
- A child will only ride the bus for the addresses that are in the ride zone (click here to determine if your child is in the ride zone)
- The bus route must go past the daycare and will not be rerouted.
- If approved, curb to curb pick-up/drop-off are not guaranteed
Processing Workflow
Step 1 - Transportation Services Processing
Our Transportation Specialist will begin processing childcare requests in July as the bus companies complete the routes for each school. In order for your request to be approved, your address and the address of the daycare must be eligible for transportation and the route must be going past the daycare.
Step 2 - Bus Company Routing
Once we have determined that you are eligible for transportation to or from your childcare provider, our Transportation Specialist will send your request to the bus company for routing. If the address is not eligible for transportation, you may be able to take advantage of a parent paid contract.
Step 3 - Bus Company Notification
Once your student is routed, Transportation Services will contact you to notify you of the bus times. These times could change due to last minute enrollments and other transportation requests. If your stop time changes by more than 10 minutes, you will be notified by the bus company.
