Eligibility and Details

Purpose: We offer transportation to or from a parent's address when they meet the below criteria:

  • Both addresses must be in the school attendance boundary
  • A child will only ride the bus for free if the addresses are in the ride zone (click here to check eligibility)
Processing Workflow

Step 1 - Transportation Services Processing

Our Transportation Specialist will begin processing requests in July as the bus companies complete the routes for each school. In order for your request to be approved, your address and the address of the daycare must be eligible for transportation.

Step 2 - Bus Company Routing

Once we have determined that you student is eligible for transportation to or from your households, our Transportation Specialist will send your request to the bus company for routing.

Note: If your households are not eligible, a Parent Paid Contract Request may be an option.

Step 3 - Bus Company Notification

Once your student is routed, the bus company will contact you to notify you of the bus times. These times could change due to last minute enrollments and other transportation requests. If your stop time changes by more than 10 minutes, you will find out at your school’s open house or through contact with the bus company.
