District-wide Boundary Task Force - Accepting Applications

The Green Bay Area Public School District is now accepting applications for a District-wide Boundary Task Force. The purpose of the task force is to gather; analyze; and review information regarding enrollment, projections, District facility capacity, potential growth and student mobility in order to identify the current reality and make multiple recommendations to the Board of Education regarding future areas of study.

Family/Community Representation
Our goal is to include parents/guardians and community members who represent the diversity of the Green Bay Area Public School District. Task force members should bring an open mind, a passion for student learning, and a willingness to engage in inquiry and meaningful dialogue throughout the process.

Task force members are expected to attend all scheduled meetings, which will occur a minimum of once a month. Meetings will begin at 6:00 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m., with an open forum to provide for community input and questions. Task force members may be expected to review documents and information in between meetings.

Applications are due by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 23, 2017. The Board of Education will review applications, and selected individuals will be notified by November 3, 2017.
