The Community Partnerships & Grants department supports the Green Bay Area Public School District by developing strong community partnerships, supporting our schools with volunteers and writing and supporting grants.

Amy is responsible for supporting our community organizations by matching them with schools who express specific needs to ensure our students’ academic, career and community success. Amy plays an essential role in helping our community partners navigate District procedures to formalize partnerships and provides guidance on Board polices relevant to our department’s work. Amy also supports grant writing and editing, as well as budget development to secure local, regional and national grant funding on behalf of our District. Amy is the primary contact for community organizations who wish to develop a grant proposal that supports District goals.

This position is responsible for supporting our academic partners by helping them navigate through our District's legal procedures and data sharing agreements and also serves as the point of contact between the schools and academic partners where collaboratively we ensure college, career and community readiness for all students. In addition, this position is responsible for connecting community members to different volunteer opportunities throughout the District.

Diana is the district’s first Community Schools Resource Coordinator. She leads the Community Schools strategy at our flagship school, Howe Community Elementary. Her role is to to implement, integrate, align, coordinate, and advance the Community School strategy through building sustainable community partnerships and services. Her work is rooted in equity and social justice with the goal of creating improved learning for our students, stronger families and more engaged school community.

Sara Rathsack
After School Program Site Director Coordinator

Sara is the Coordinator of After School Programming (ASP) and supports the program for the district in collaboration with other community partners and district departments. The district has 11 ASP elementary school sites. Sara works with staff and partners to promote program goals to include best practices of student learning opportunities that complement school day activities. Sara helps support the implementation of new programming in partnership with the school site director and school principal.
