
Immunizations
Did you know immunizations are a school requirement? Required immunizations may be waived for health, religious, or personal conviction reasons. A waiver must be signed and on file in the school office if you choose not to have your child immunized.

The following diseases are prevented by these required immunizations.

A flu shot is highly recommended in the fall to reduce the chance of your child getting the seasonal respiratory flu and spreading it to others.
Where to go to get immunizations:
- If you have insurance through your work: make an appointment with your doctor
- If you have badger care (also called forward health, state insurance):make an appointment with your doctor or make an appointment at the Brown County Health Department or NEW community clinic.
- If you have no insurance: make an appointment with the Brown County Health Department.
- The Brown County Health Department offers free immunizations to children ages 0-18 who have Badger Care or who do not have insurance. MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT
