The Green Bay Area Public Schools is committed to implementing a consistent Artificial Intelligence (AI) Plan throughout our district. We are proud to launch AI learning resources specifically for our families and community members. We invite families and community members to explore the resources below in foundational learning of Artificial Intelligence.

Getting Future Ready: GBAPS AI Plan
The Green Bay Area Public Schools (GBAPS) is committed to implementing a consistent Artificial Intelligence (AI) Plan throughout our District. AI is becoming a major part of the world, and we are safely bringing it into our schools to:

Key Information About the GBAPS AI Implementation Plan:
- Foundational Learning & Safe Use is Key: A core focus of this plan is to provide all GBAPS school community members (students, families, and staff) with a foundational understanding of what AI is and how it works. This knowledge is essential so everyone knows how to use AI tools safely, ethically, and responsibly—both within GBAPS and in your personal lives outside of the school district.
- Who is Involved? The plan is being launched district-wide to all students, families, and staff. Everyone will have access to deepen their AI knowledge.
- Timeline: This is a comprehensive plan that will be rolled out over a 2-year phased approach. Communication and learning will be shared in a timely way that is relevant to your role (as a student, a parent/guardian, or a staff member).
Student learning that utilizes district approved AI resources will be incorporated in the regular school day. Please explore the Student Data Privacy site to learn how GBAPS works diligently to review online resources that support our educational philosophy and meet student data privacy requirements according to district policy.
