Volunteer Opportunities
You will find these opportunities in Volunteer Tracker where you can sign up, or please reach out directly to Amy Fish.
We are currently seeking volunteers for the following opportunities:

Nicolet Elementary - Volunteer to come in one day a week for several hours to help in the office with lamination, cutting, using the die cut machine, etc.  This is a great opportunity for someone to really connect with the school staff long term!

Elmore Elementary - Holiday Store, December 12 from 8-11am, help students select gifts for their family members, there will also be a gift wrapping station.

Basketball Coaches - Several elementary schools would like to participate in our 5th grade basketball league, but need a coach!  This is a commitment of 2 hours a week.  You do not need strong basketball skills!

Ongoing Opportunities:

Sparks Reading Buddy Program

Do you enjoy reading with children? Join our Sparks Reading Buddy program and become a Sparkler in a student’s life! This program asks that you commit as little as one hour a week to read with  second grade students. You will be provided with training and recommendations for best practices. This program is offered at several elementary schools throughout the district.  Please call for more information.

Make a positive impact in a student’s life just by hanging out with them during lunch hour.  Big Brothers Big Sisters partners with Green Bay Area Public schools to do site-based mentor programs. This very successful program trains and prepares mentors and matches them up with an elementary aged student. We ask for a one-year commitment from the mentors.  See Flier for more information!
