Reasons to Choose Green Bay Area Public Schools

Diversity
The Green Bay Area Public School District’s (GBAPS) diversity is one of top reasons families share why they choose to attend GBAPS! Our District is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion, because we believe that every child, employee and family should feel welcome and a sense of belonging.

Pathways
Another strength of GBAPS is the incredible number of opportunities available to our students. Whether it's the Fine Arts Pathway (4K-12); the International Baccalaureate Programme (4K-12); our capstone courses such as Bridges, Bay Link ManufacturingⓇ and City Stadium Automotive; or specialty schools such as the Katherine Johnson Academy for Enriched Virtual Learning (4K-7), Leonardo da Vinci School for Gifted Learners (5K-8), and John Dewey Academy (project-based charter school), GBAPS has the right fit for each of our unique learners.

Community Investment
Our students benefit greatly from significant community support and investment in GBAPS. From numerous community partners, to volunteers (more than 27,600 hours in the 2021-22 school year), to 69% voter support in the District’s November 2022 facilities referendum for $92.6 million - including the renovation of several auditoriums and two outdoor stadiums.
