In order to communicate with families in a timely and effective manner regarding school delays or cancellations, late buses, and emergency situations, the District will now send text messages in addition to phone calls and emails. In addition, schools may also use texting to communicate with parents.
Once parents/guardians provide or update a cell phone number, they will receive a text message asking if they would like to "opt in" to the service. Charges may apply for texts, if you do not have an unlimited text messaging plan.
If you received the text message and opted-in, no further action is required. If you deleted the text message and would like to receive text messages in the situations described above, text “Y” or “Yes” to 67587. If you did not receive a text message, but would like to receive texts, please contact the Help Desk at
920-448-2148
to verify the District has the correct phone number in Infinite Campus. The Help Desk is available Monday -Thursday from 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and on Friday from 6:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Please know that at any time you can choose to “opt-out” of receiving texts, by texting “STOP” to 67587. For more information visit
www.schoolmessenger.com/txt
.
