College Goal Wisconsin FAFSA Completion Events

College Goal Wisconsin and the Green Bay Area Public School District are hosting free events to help students and their families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

High school seniors planning to pursue post-secondary education should complete the FAFSA. FAFSA is the form that must be submitted to be considered for federal and state financial aid, including grants and loans.

If you’re applying for financial aid for the 2025-26 school year (typically July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026), you should file a 2025-26 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. Contact your school to verify which award year you should apply for, especially if you’re attending school during the summer.

Students and families may attend any of the following events, regardless of where the student currently attends school.

The following event will be held in-person:

  • Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. - Preble High School in the Library Media Center
  • Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. - Southwest High School in the Library Media Center
  • Wednesday, January 29, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. - West High School (enter at the Main Entrance)

Students should plan to bring their charged chromebook in order to access the FAFSA during the event. To learn more about the College Goal Wisconsin events and what is needed to complete the FAFSA, view this flyer.

Event attendees will also be entered to win a scholarship.

Please direct questions to your child’s school counselor.
