Community Conversations: District Budget

Faded purple image of a binder which reads BUDGET on the spine. A calculator, glasses and financial documents are laid out on a table.

Family, staff, students and community members are invited to attend a Community Conversation about the District budget. The Green Bay Area Public School District has been working to address structural deficits, and right-size facilities and staffing to align with declining enrollment.

  • Tuesday, February 17, 2026, East High School, 1415 E. Walnut Street, commons, 6:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, February 18, 2026, Southwest High School, 1331 Packerland Drive, commons, 6:00 p.m.

The District has scheduled two Community Conversations for the following purpose:

  1. Provide an overview of the District’s budget, previous cost-cutting measures, and current budget challenges.
  2. Brainstorm ideas with the community regarding areas of possible cuts and other potential cost saving measures.
