Community Enrichment Classes Spring 2026

The following Community Enrichment Classes will be offered in spring of 2026. These classes are FREE and available to anyone who lives in the Green Bay Area School District attendance area.

The classes are first-come, first-served. Please only register ONE class per person so as many people can participate as possible. Register for your class.

Crushed It! Pocket Planters

When: Thursday, March 19, 2026, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Where: District Office Building

Turn tin cans into stylish home décor! In this interactive workshop, participants will crush and shape cans into pocket planters, arrange faux flowers, and explore creative upcycling to make a one-of-a-kind decorative piece. Adults only please.

Tecnología Sin Miedo: Padres Conectados

When: Tuesday, March 24, 2026, 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Where: Edison Middle School

Technology Without Fear is a free, Spanish-language course for parents. Learn to use school apps like Infinite Campus, Canvas, and TalkingPoints to check grades, communicate with teachers, and support your child’s learning. No prior technology experience needed. Adults only please.

Hand Embroidering Tea Towels!

When: Tuesday, April 7, 2026, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Where: Preble High School

Learn how to embroider simple floral patterns, letters and designs onto tea towels! We will use patterns to help us learn and be able to take home beautiful new towels. Ages 12+ welcome.

Whimsical Garden Hearts

When: Wednesday, April 8 & April 15, 2026, 5:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Where: MacArthur Elementary School

Come create a whimsical garden heart sculpture using an outdoor paper mache process. It's messy, it's fun, and you'll leave with a functional piece of garden art! Everyone will start with a pre-cut heart shape that we will embellish and cover with a mixture of mortar and newspaper on day one. Day two, we will paint our creations using bright, outdoor paints. Participants must attend both classes to complete the project. All heart sculptures will include a garden stake for display. Ages 15+ welcome.

Becoming a Wearable Artist: From Sketch to Shirt

When: Tuesday, April 14, 2026, 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Where: Jackson Elementary School

Learn how to create holiday simmer pot recipes that fill your home with cozy, festive scents. In this hands-on class, you’ll mix natural ingredients like citrus, spices, and herbs to craft stovetop blends that make your space smell merry, bright, and wonderfully inviting. Ages 10+ welcome.

Meal Prep with a Purpose

When: Wednesday, April 15, 2026, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Where: Eisenhower Elementary School

Come join us to discuss and prepare freezer meal and share meal-planning tips and tricks! Participants will prepare two meals to take home and prepare an additional two meals to donate to the school pantry. Ages 8+ welcome to work together with a parent (only one signup needed if working together).

Hooked on Fly Tying

When: Monday, April 20, 2026, 4:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Where: Southwest High School

Get ready to thread, wrap, and create! In this hands-on class, students will learn the basics of fly tying while making three classic flies: a Wooly Bugger, a Mickey Finn, and one fly of their own choosing. This class is perfect for beginners and curious anglers. Come have fun, get creative, and leave with flies ready to fish! Ages 8+ welcome.

Floral Porch Pot Design

When: Tuesday, April 21, 2026, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Where: Southwest High School

Get your hands dirty and your porch ready! In this short, fun class, you’ll learn how to design a beautiful floral porch pot or hanging basket using colorful flowers, textures, and a little creative flair. Perfect for beginners to come plant, play, and leave with a pot that makes your porch smile! Ages 8+ welcome.

Latin Roots: Dance & Culture Experience

When: Tuesday, April 21, 2026, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Where: Eisenhower Elementary School

This workshop will allow participants to learn and explore traditional music and dances from Colombia culture. Give your body and mind the gift of relaxation and exercise through traditional rhythms and a wide variety of unique Colombian movements. Ages 12+ welcome.

Painted Plates - Family Style

When: Tuesday, April 7, 2026, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. OR Tuesday, April 21, 2026, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Where: Howe Elementary School

Come join the fun and paint your own personalized plate! Work together to paint a plate that will be fired in our kiln. The pate can then be used for special occasions at your house or on display! One plate per family.

Cricut 101: For beginners or anyone wanting to learn!

When: Thursday, April 30, 2026, 5 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Where: West High School

Join our Cricut class to learn how to use iron-on vinyl (HTV) to create a fun, festive spring project from start to finish. You’ll get hands-on guidance with cutting, weeding, and properly applying vinyl using a heat press or iron. Perfect for beginners, this class will leave you with a finished spring design and the confidence to recreate it at home. Ages 13+ welcome.
