Southwest High School teacher Rachel Ziegler is a 2026 Herb Kohl Educational Foundation Teacher Fellow.
Teacher fellows are recognized for their exceptional leadership, dedication to students, and commitment to educational excellence.
From more than 1,200 statewide nominations, 100 teachers were selected to receive the annual Teacher Fellowship awards. The award provides $6,000 in honor of their ability to inspire a love of learning, motivate students, and lead both inside and outside the classroom. Southwest High School will also receive a matching grant of $6,000 to further support student learning and school initiatives.
