Elmore Elementary School proudly hosted its 25th Annual Veterans Day Assembly on November 11.

Students and staff honored 19 veterans from the Elmore community, as well as one active military parent who is currently deployed.

Students sang songs, read a poem, and shared what Veterans Day is all about for a crowd of family, friends, and Veterans. Students waved red, white and blue pom poms and American flags to celebrate. Hand-made cards and gifts were presented to the Veterans present.

Students across the Green Bay Area Public School District learned what it means to serve our country, and the impact it has on all Americans through assemblies and class discussions.
