Jackson Celebrates Flex Farm

Jackson Elementary School held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the first harvest of lettuce from its Hydroponic Flex Farm on January 20, 2026.

Thanks to generous donations, Jackson Elementary will be able to grow fresh lettuce, herbs and tomatoes that can be served in their cafeteria or provided to school families through their food pantry.

The Flex Farm also provides opportunities for students to learn about sustainable agriculture and how to operate the Flex Farm.
