Students Present to Naming Committee

The Green Bay Area Public School District's Portrait of a Graduate identifies five graduate profiles: academic achievers, communicators and connectors, personal architects, leaders and teammates, and empowered navigators.

Students at Kennedy Elementary exemplified all of these profiles as they presented to the new west side elementary school naming committee and Superintendent Bayer on their preferred name for the school on March 6, 2025.

Kennedy Elementary is a Leaders in Me school, and the students that presented were the school's Lighthouse Team. The Student Lighthouse Team is made up of students in grades two through five, who applied and interviewed to be a part of the team.
