State Sen. Cowles Accepts Friend of Education Award

The Board of Education awarded Senator Rob Cowles with the Friend of Education Award in June 2024. Schedules finally allowed Senator Cowles to attend the October 28, 2024, Board of Education meeting to accept his award.
Senator Cowles has always been willing to engage with School Board Members and District administrators to explain proposed legislation or various details about the state budget process and has advocated for legislation that has supported public schools.
Senator Cowles served Senate District 2 since 1987 until 2024.
