Welcome to the Language Resources page! Language is vital to the survival of culture. Due to the effects of colonization and assimilation, many Indigenous languages are nearly extinct with only a handful of first language speakers left in a community.
This page is dedicated to the language revitalization efforts of the First Nations of Wisconsin. The links below will take you to some of the strongest revitalization programs in our state.
