Research Request Application

The completed Research Request Application will be reviewed by a District committee consisting of the Director of Research & Program Evaluation, a District Associate Superintendent, and as applicable to the research design a representative from Teaching & Learning, Pupil Services, Special Education, Assessment, Technology, and the school Principal. If the research study and/or the data collection request receives approval, the applicant will be required to sign a Confidentiality and a Data Use agreement prior to study activity initiation.  The researcher will agree to provide a copy of the final research document to the District. If a District letter of support is required for an Institutional Review Board review process, the letter will be issued upon completion of the review. The letter will be sent via e-mail to the researcher by the District Director of Research & Program Evaluation.  Please plan 45 days for the review process to be completed, after the completed application is submitted.
