Student inducteesIn November, more than 30 students from Southwest High School were inducted into the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica - Yerba Mate Chapter. These students have demonstrated a passion for the Spanish language, and have maintained high academic achievement during their study of Spanish.

This Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica was founded by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese in 1953, for the students of North American secondary schools. The goal of the organization is to promote interest in the study for Spanish, further Spanish studies and recognize high academic achievement.

This is the first chapter in the Green Bay Area Public School District. Congratulations, students!
